Murphy became my second rescue in April 2019. Per usual English Bulldogs, he is a funny adorable trouble maker. He is my constant companion. Can't leave a room without him. He likes to flop over on his side for a belly rub. If you quit before he is ready he will paw the air requesting you continue. If you ignore his request the will scoot over and begin to paw you. He likes most anything edible. We share peaches, plums, pears, cauliflower, broccoli and etc. Recently, for the first time, he gently pawed my stomach to let me know he was awake and ready for some cuddling and scratching. He shows his love by licking my ankles, arms and face. Besides sleeping with me he joins me on the sofa for some TV watching. If I slouch down he will frequently take a nap with his head on my arm or chest. He is a social butterfly and seeks attention and petting from anyone he meets. He is friendly but mostly indifferent to other dogs. He virtually never barks or whines. When I first got him I was beginning to wander if he was mute. LOL A very personable and lovable companion.
