Pet's Story
Without the help of SGR, Weezy wouldn't be here today.
When he came into Oakland Animal Services, Jarvis had a severe upper respiratory infection, one that is extremely contagious in a shelter setting and highly fatal without treatment to kittens.
(These animals are generally euthanized for the safety of others)
With the help and antics of a dedicated vet technician there (The founder of Saving Grace Rescue!) we were able to treat and "shuffle" him around until I was able to "foster" him. ;)
Since then Weez has been an advocate for at-risk kittens everywhere, and through your help and support you have been instrumental in allowing us to give meaning to these tiny lives that would not have flourished without you.
