Genie was 8 yrs old when her previous owner passed away, the owner’s relatives could not even touch her at the time so they decided to surrender her to a shelter. Genie was very fearful aggressive and sent away to a rescue but shortly after the rescue returned her and said she was “un-fixable”. Hearing this they were gonna euthanize her the next day, I asked if I could foster her and work with her and they had no hope but said yes. I worked with her for weeks with no improvement but I just couldn’t euthanize her so I kept her, but now 5 years later she is an absolute sweet heart and will do anything to get your attention💕
