Bear & Sarah are both senior Chows. Bear (black Chow) celebrated his 15th birthday this past July! We got Sarah (red) from Homeless Pets Rescue in 2003. The veterinarian that rescued her from the humane society had her for a year & said he guessed she was about a year or two when he rescued her, making her at the very least 14 years old now. It's challenging dealing with senior Chows, but they've given us so much love and have been such an important part of our family. I celebrate each day that they are still with us.
