I was adopted from Save A Dog Rescue!

Tell us your dogs story...
Sky's story started in Kentucky, where she was born into a hoarding situation with 90+ dogs on the property. She and her litter mates survived the first couple of weeks of their short lives before they were rescued. Save a Dog Rescue was one of the wonderful organizations to take some of the dogs from this awful situation! I came into the picture at this time because I was in the market for a dog to do sports with! I thought it was a fun way to bond with your dog; something that's active and fun for both dog and owner! It's always been a dream of mine to compete with my dog, whether it'll be through frisbee, dock diving, agility, etc. I knew I needed a specific breed combination that was high energy/high drive, so as soon as I read her story and saw Sky in her green scrunchie at 4 weeks old on Save A Dog's website, I applied. I brought her home with me several weeks later and we've been inseparable ever since. She is only 7 months old, so we're still in basic obedience right now but she is doing fantastic. I thought this pic was perfect to submit, because she LOVES her frisbee and I see so much potential in her! I believe she's a Cattle Dog/Terrier mix, so her energy level, size, and athleticism create the perfect mix for dog sports. We will see what she takes to, but so far she's loving her new path in life! Thank you leading me to my best friend, SAD Rescue!!
