Tell us your dogs story...
My first dog was a beagle and hounds are my favorite. I found Reggie on Petfinder early December 2016. My Christmas gift was getting another (third) dog❤️ ! I remember we had lots of ice that winter, so the next best day to drive to get “Red” was 12/22/16. I drove 2.15 hours to see him for the first time in Portland In. This animal shelter is small and ran by land owners across the street. I was unsure what my husband would think since “Red” was howling/barking so much but I couldn’t leave him! I had to drive my car closer to where the lady was holding him since there was so much ice. He looked at me and barked nonstop so I knew he was a part of this family! His name became Reggie since he was possibly used to hearing Red anyways. He was such a good car rider for the 2 plus hours to his new home! The pic included isn’t my favorite but a cute one for Halloween! I love my redbone coonhound!
