We lost our Charlie after 14 years in 2012 and our 1 year old Jax had no playmate and we could tell he wanted to be a big brother. I was home sick and a commercial kept coming up about a rescue in Austin, Tx. I went to their web page and was forwarded to the SAPA website. Gumbo was one of the pictures looking back at me and I fell in love! We drove to San Antonio that weekend with Jax and brought back his little brother. It was love at first sight for all 3 of us! Now, Jax and Gumbo are inseparable and Gumbo tells everyone he knows that his Life started that day in November when he arrived "home" to Corpus Christi!
