Your Pet's Story or Bio
Buddy joined our family in January 2016. He was originally rescued from ACS and named Shawn. We wanted a companion for our 11 yr old lab mix, Missy, so we brought her along for a meet-and greet. We walked the rows of SAPA several times but none of the dogs drew me in like Shawn. I think it was his big brown eyes. We all met in the yard. He was an absolute love bug who just want attention and Missy seemed to accept him so we decided to bring him home. We renamed him Buddy before we even left the parking lot. He fit into our home right away and he and Missy get along great. He's a goofy momma's boy who makes us laugh everyday. We could not have asked for a better dog and are grateful to SAPA for bringing him into our life!
