A little about me...
I'm Blue. Whether or not that name came from my soulful eyes, or my world-weary appearance, or something else, we may never know.

The years before my adoption are hazy to me, lost in the mists of time. That's mainly because since that fateful day (they say I'm about 9 now, though I feel older somehow) have been filled with comfort, joy and safety.

I like dinnertime (who doesn't!), sleeping on the bed wedged between two humans, and sniffing every rock and root on my walks.

Surprisingly, I tolerate a small annoying feline who lurks among the family. Our relationship, though cordial, is not necessarily fodder for heart-warming TikTok videos, shall we say.

In closing, I must thank any and all pet adoption organizations, and stress that while it would be so life-affirming to be selected for this prestigious honor, I'm truly just happy to be nominated.
