A little about me...
My family says it was their good fortune to adopt me from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in February of 2014, after I had been picked up twice as a stray. They say that I was underweight, badly matted and had infections in both ears. I had twice run away from my family because I was hungry and lonely. My former parents admitted to Shelter staff that they could not afford dog food, let alone vet bills.

My forever family says: “This sweet and loving girl is the light of our lives. She enjoys daily walks where she relishes sniffing along the path, meeting new people and dogs and when at home, lounging on her favorite ottoman with her “lamby ” pillow while she watches the birds outside. She wins over (nearly) every person and dog she meets. Her adorable “fat,” fluffy paws and perennially young face prompt daily comments from passerby of “Your puppy is so cute!”

I’m a Leo and my favorite color is pink. And I am the faithful mascot for the local band, “8th Avenue Jazz.”
