A little about me...
We adopted Walnut (then Pepper) from SCCAS in the fall of 2020 when he was all of ten weeks old, having been born at the shelter after his pregnant mama was trapped in Watsonville. We will never forget the moment this little purr machine was plopped into the meet ‘n greet room! The bond was instantaneous. Today, Wally is a confident, vocal, playful, and cuddly one-year old with full reign of the house. If chasing spongy, sparkly balls was an Olympic sport, Wally would be in Tokyo right now as a heavy favorite for the gold medal.
