A little about me...
My name is Ryker. I was brought to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Jan of 2019 with major injuries including but not limited to an open fractured skull and TBI. I suffered from seizures throughout my recovery and most of the staff didn’t think I would pull through BUT thanks to the Extra Mile Fund and the amazing staff not giving up on me, I’m still here today and thriving! It took weeks to get medically cleared but March 4th 2019 I FINALLY got to go home with my mama and got my second chance at living my best life! And boy am I!

Now….what can I tell you about myself…..I’m a mama’s boy. Duh! I LOVE adventure and I LOVE the outdoors! Whether it’s hitting the trail and going hiking, going camping, or hitting the lake for some kayaking I’m just happy I do all of this by my mamas side! Also, pretty sure I eat better then her.
