A little about me...
Hi there! My name is Teddy and I was adopted from the SPCA in Santa Cruz. I was a rescue from a kill shelter, and spent up to 2 1/2 years of my life in shelters before being rescued by my loving mamma. When I was adopted I had a lot of bad habits but I worked super hard with my mom and a trainer and in no time I learned how to trust and gain confidence. I’m around 5 years old now and I think I’m pretty darn smart and funny. I wear out my mom quickly because I have boundless energy and love to perform tricks for treats; I never have a bad day though. When I’m on walks I love to meet new people with a few licks and jumps for joy; I’m an explorer and will walk for hours but mom cut’s me off because I poop her out. When someone feels down I cheer them up because I’m an internal optimist and know I have a great life now. At the dog park I will play with all the dogs, big or small, and I love to surround myself with a group of dogs for an hour of dog fun. I love car rides and visiting the beach; although, I’ll admit I am a bit scared of the sound of the waves - and why is it so salty? After a long day of play my mom makes me take a bath - it’s ok and I feel better after - but when I’m dry I can finally lay down for a rest, but not too long because I can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
