A little about me...
Skye is an example of how dogs can overcome tremendous obstacles in life! At the age of two months, Skye was ran over by a car and had multiple major fractures in her legs, hip and pelvis. She was considered to be beyond recovery. However, our wonderful friends at BirchBark Foundation found the courage and willingness to save her by providing her with major, orthopedic, surgical procedures. When we entered the picture and rescued her from Peace of Mind Dog Rescue after her surgery, there were many weeks of recovery for her. It was very difficult for her as an energetic puppy as she had to be sedated so that she would not move around too much.

Now, at 1.4 years old, has become the purest example of energy, grace and strength that any dog could be. She loves life everyday and especially the people she is around. Her loyalty, love and appreciation of life serve as a constant reminder of how all of us should be.
