A little about me...
My husband owns an auto repair shop and 12 years ago, when he pulled an Audi TT in to the garage, he heard terrified meowing. He found this feral kitten stuck up inside the car. It took him over an hour to get her out. He called us and said, "What do I do?" We were like, BRING HER HOME! He said, "Ok but we're not keeping her." We just laughed because we knew we would.

We put her in the playroom away from our other cat and didn't approach her for days. We would sit in the room and talk so she could get used to our voices. Slowly, my daughter - who was 8 at the time - bonded with her and basically tamed her.

Coco is perpetually nervous but equally as sweet. She melts us constantly with her splotchy face and timid ways. We love her so much.
