June Carter rescued her parents as a puppy in June 2018. She’s a little bit of lab, a little bit Jack Russell Terrier, and a lot of energy. Born in the backwoods of Mississippi, she’s a country girl at heart, but has loved living in the big city of San Antonio for over a year now—especially enjoying all the city’s parks and trails, giving her plenty of places to hike and run. She loves all people (and will try to go home with strangers), but she is NOT a fan of boy dogs, who she finds to be dreadfully annoying. June’s a natural athlete who was born with a tennis ball in her mouth, and she can be found all over the city, playing fetch with her parents. If you see her at Hardberger Park (her favorite park) or at the Pearl (her favorite people-watching spot), come say hi!
