We were looking to adopt a new friend and had heard good things about SARL. When we went to the website to view adoptable dogs, Layla (formerly Paprika) was there and we couldn't resist her sweet face! We applied immediately and the SARL staff responded shortly after letting us know we were the first application - it must have been fate! When we went to meet Layla, we sat on the floor so that we wouldn't intimidate her. She immediately crawled into my fiancé's lap and started licking him! She's been ours ever since!
