Maggie (formerly Kim) was a rescue from a rescue. Our understanding, when we adopted her at SARL 6 years ago (this August), is Maggie was rescued by SARL from a kill shelter in the Carolina's. The wonderful people at SARL scooped her up with others and brought them here to find their forever homes. We needed a strong willed cat to normalize things between our 2 males after we lost our beloved peacekeeper Maine coon. Maggie fit the bill!! She is sassy, extremely chatty, a snuggler, she has a personality unlike any cat we owned!! She loves window bird watching, an occasional swim in the pool (yes she doggy paddles very well!), napping on her screen porch and running the house, humans, and our other SARL alum Riley!
