Bastet was a local surrender at age 5. Her owner took her in as a feral kitten but never socialized her, she named her Chaos. When she was surrendered no one could pet her and she stayed up high. We would lure her down with food. I thought she can do that at my house. After a month of hiding, on Xmas eve she rubbed up against me. It brought tears to my eyes. She felt safe and loved. She is now 12, and the sweetest love ever. There is nothing like the feeling of earning a scared cats love!
