Our resident canines Luca (L), Gypsy Blue (C) and Rolo (R) were all adopted through rescues. Rolo was part of the foster-to-adopt program with Ruff Start Rescue & came in from Houston, TX as a heartworm positive pup. Aside from it being love at first sight, he was the perfect fit for our family. So after his heartworm treatments were complete, we made it official, adopting him on 5/23/23. This photo was taken after his last heartworm treatment (which included an overnight stay at the vet). Everyone was so happy to see him. He is our silly, sweet and sometimes bossy little man, always insisting on love, attention and affection, as well playtime. You will find him under the covers with Luca, snuggled in his human's arms or running the fenceline with Gypsy Blue. He is absolutely loved and adored & we are so lucky to be his forever family.
