When Peanut's owner passed 12 years ago, I was lucky enough to had been asked if I would take her as no one else could. I wasn't sure if it would work but I agreed. It was the best decision I have ever made. She has a classic Pug personality: sweet, happy, friendly, outgoing. Peanut has been a constant in my life, one of a kind/irreplaceable. She has been with me through the best and the worst. Leave it to a dog to show that kind of loyalty.
