Sophie is an Italian Greyhound rescued from a so-called breeder near Loveland, Ohio. Her once strong lineage of show dogs abruptly stopped with her generation, as she and her litter mates fell under the care of owners who were hoarders and could barely provide for her and her siblings. Now a happy and spoiled girl, Sophie exhibits the best in show traits of her ancestors, but much prefers warm laps and cuddles over the glare of the arena spotlight.
