Official Rules

The contest is open to anyone.
Photo entries must reflect Ringwood State Park (Ringwood Manor, Skylands, Long Pond, NJ State Botanical Garden or Shephard's Lake) and the submitter must own the copyright to the photo.
Each entry requires a $5 tax free donation to the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts Carriage Barn Capital Improvements Fund. You will receive 5 votes with your entry fee.
Photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution — 300 dpi or higher in PNG or JPG format — and no greater than 5MB. If image resolution is too low you will be asked to supply another photo. If a high resolution image is unavailable, the next top scoring photo may be selected to take its place in the calendar.
Please note: Photos taken with a mobile phone are typically not of high enough quality.
We encourage multiple entries!
We encourage you to submit a few sentences about your picture to be displayed during the voting period.
We encourage you to share your entry and encourage others to vote, vote, vote!
We encourage you to pre-order calendars to help us estimate the number to order.

Voting Fees

Each vote is $1. There is no limit to the number of votes you may cast.
You may vote for your own photo or you may spread your votes across multiple photos. You can also "bank" your votes for use later.
There are no refunds for unused votes.
When you purchase your "votes" you are donating to the RMAA Carriage Barn Capital Improvement Fund, so again – these are tax-free donations!
When you complete your transaction to purchase votes, you will receive a confirmation email which will serve as your proof of donation.

Miscellaneous

We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired.
The RMAA reserves the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice. The RMAA is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Donations are tax deductible.
All donations are non-refundable.
Once entered, you grant the RMAA rights to use your photo and story for marketing and grant application purposes, including publication, in the calendar, our grant applications, and/or on our website and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.
By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the RMAA and Ringwood State Park and each of their officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and their families, agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
