Hi, my name is Hickory! I'm originally from Kentucky & was born into what my Pops calls a puppy mill. So to say, I came from humble beginnings is true. I was transferred to the Lighthouse Animal Shelter located in New Bedford which is where I met my Pops. That was the best day of my life! A few months after I was adopted, my Pops met my Mommy. While they were dating, he was on his way home with me in the car when we both got into a real bad car accident & I injured my front paw real bad. Unfortunately, that's how I ended up being a tripod. That doesn't stop me from chasing squirrels, chipmunks or begging for treats. They say I'm a strong little pup but I think its because I have parents that love me! #3legs are better than 4!
