A little about me...Moose had a hard life on the streets of NYC before I found him. He was returned to the shelter twice by families that decided not to keep him and even though Moose is microchipped, he was picked up as a stray multiple times as his multiple prior adoptive parents kept kicking him out. At 6 years old, Moose was the oldest cat at the Manhattan animal shelter. He was hiding in the back of the cage since people never seemed to treat him right. This is where I found him. As soon as I picked him up he started purring and we knew it was meant to be. Since then, Moose and I are best buds. He has moved with me to four different Brooklyn apartments and eventually back home to Buffalo. Moose went through many name changes being in and out of the shelter his whole life. He was nameless for a couple weeks when I first got him before I settled on Moose. Moose now has many nicknames including, but not limited to: Baby Moose, Moosie, Moosiebear, Mooseman, Gooseman, Moosum, Goosum, MoosumGoosum, Moosen, Goosen, Moosenheimer, Goosenheimer, Little baby Mooseman, Little baby Gooseman, Little baby Moosenheimer, Little baby Goosenheimer.
