A little about me...
President's Day weekend of 2020, my fiancé and I wandered into the Niagara County SPCA. We walked through the dog section. With rescues being scared and confused about their environment, a lot of the dogs were barking or growling at us. But Ellie (Ensley at the time) just stood there calmly and looked up at us with her baby blue eyes, wagging her tail even though she was scared. We asked to meet her, and we were able to pet her, give her treats and she gave us tons of kisses. We found out she had been picked up wandering the city, and was pregnant. She delivered 3 puppies, but only 1 made it. We fell in love with her, and knew we had to take her home. She made herself comfortable right away, jumping on the couch and laying down. We knew we made the right decision!
