Toffee is the perfect example of how dogs live in the moment despite their circumstances, we are her third home. For the last 10 months we have fought to slow the decline of her back legs with underwater treadmill & acupuncture. Unfortunately, we are starting to lose the battle. Despite the changes Toffee experiences, she just finds another way to get up & walk, she never stops trying. The wheelchair allows her to get a better workout by walking farther while providing some support. She has taught me to focus on what I can do, not what I cannot.
