Your Pet's Story or Bio
Early 2020 I was thinking about getting a new pup to keep my elderly dog company in his twilight years. A friend sent me a photo of Cookie, just a pup in a foster home in Grove City. One look into her oddly human eyes and I knew she was the one for our family. It was a bonus she was already named Cookie, one of the best handheld desserts.
Covid hit and we were on lockdown, working from home and Cookie and my other dog became inseparable. She gave me joy during a tough time and I was able to give her the chance to live her best life.
Since then she has learned to love small children because they'll run with her, she loves walking beaches unleashed and the woods, and she also has several irrational fears due to being a COVID pup, including but not limited to balloons, waves, cardboard boxes, the stove, blow up decorations, and oversized trashcan.
She loves to be loved, responding to people calling her cute by rubbing against their legs and asking for scratches. She will shed all over you, but we like to say it's her way of leaving her mark on you for the rest of the day.
