I spent 33 days at the Humane Society of Eastern NC, after my time was up at the local county shelter. I was surrendered to the shelter with really bad heartworms and I was too sick to play with anyone. Then this nice lady took me home with her and helped me get better! Three years and lots of vet visits later, I am finally heartworm negative and living my best life! I love playing tug-of-war, cuddling my humans, and leaving nose prints on my favorite window. I want to remind everyone to give their pups heartworm preventative all year long!
