Winnie was a rescue from the Catawba County Humane Society. She was initially at the pound in Charlotte when the Humane society pulled her. She was found as a stray and her original owners did not want her anymore. She did not let this bother her and continues to love all people and other dogs. Winnie is a great representative of a breed that is truly misunderstood and sadly fill our kill shelters at no fault of their own. She is a great example of not judging a book by its cover.
