Hi. I am Charlie. I was found starving and living under a dumpster in North Charleston. Some nice people brought me to Charleston Animal Society where I waited a very long time for my perfect family. They finally came and now I have 3 human kids and 1 dog brother. Don't let my small size fool you, I run the show. Some people think my grey beard is funny but I think it gives me character. Yes, I might have become a little high maintenance now that I have a home. I do sometimes demand to be carried around like a baby but you would to if your legs were this small. And sleeping in the middle of the bed, under the covers all stretched out just feels right.
I love to go for walks on the beach but I have a complicated relationship with water.
I give back by bringing smiles to the faces of everyone I meet. My little humans were adopted too so we feel extra connected and I help to make them feel safe. It's a very important job. Thank you Charleston Animal Society for helping me find my family and giving a second chance.
