Hi friends, my name is Marlowe, though my friends call me Mar-looney! I am a toy-loving, adventure-having, energetic social butterfly. But life wasn’t always so easy or fun for me. Six months ago, I was rescued as a stray dog with no apparent experience with leashes and a marked fear of people. I was so sick that I required emergency surgery and a blood transfusion to stay alive. Because I also lost my puppy, I was sad and confused and kept searching for my puppy amongst my squeaky toys. But with the loving care of CAS and my fosters, I pulled through and my personality blossomed. And then I met my family, and everything I had been through finally made sense. I found my people. Now, my butt wiggles so fast that my mom swears I could power a small boat. And sometimes, especially when I’m feeling goofy, she calls me “Mad- Eye Marlowe” on account of my small eye.

Some people would call me a rescue dog. I guess that’s true, but I’m pretty sure it’s because I rescued my family rather than the other way around. Life couldn’t be better.
