When I was born, they told me I was supposed to be a hunting dog. But I wanted to be a lover--not a fighter! They cut me loose to fend for myself, and I was all alone when I got heartworms. Luckily, some nice people found me and I was put up for adoption. My furever family brought me home where I was able to heal with a lot of pets, treats, chew toys, and love. Thanks to the attention of volunteers, vets, and my family, I was able to get all better. Now I'm heartworm-free and ready to be the lover I knew I always was! I want to love everyone I meet: every person, dog, cat, and even goose is just a friend I hasn't met yet. I'm ready to go all over Charleston to check out what treats, cuddles, and adventures are in store for me. I love to run as fast as I can, sniff every smell I discover, and howl to the moon about how great rescued dogs (and cats) are!
