Our Mabel is proof that every dog deserves a second and sometimes third chance at their forever home. Mabel spent a majority of her first eight months in and out of several different shelters and adopted homes. One shelter was a kill shelter. Some dogs just have difficulty finding their home possibly because of their breed - Mabel is part pitbull. Luckily, a person at the kill shelter realized that Mabel would make a tremendous pet for a loving family. This person was able to contact a foster family that cared for Mabel trained her and introduced her to a family. We were lucky enough to be able to adopt her into her forever home from this foster family. That was more than eight years ago and every day with Mabel has been a blessing.
