Kitty was named that because of her personality. She is a lap dog in every sense, and is a gentle giant. She has a loud bark, but once she warms up to you, she is smothering you in kisses.

Before my husband and I met Kitty, we were told she was more fearful of men than women. At our first meeting, she would stay closer to me than my husband, which we knew would happen. No more than 3 hours later, she was cuddling with him in our bed, giving him kisses on the nose and face, and has been *his* baby ever sense.
