For those who might be unaware of the origins of this calendar fund drive, the idea for the fund raiser was brought about by our tragedy. One year ago, late this July, Stray Paws experienced a devastating flash flood which, tragically, caused our heart breaking loss of 10 puppies and our building was partially destroyed. The kind efforts of our local fire fighters saved the remaining dogs who were truly rescued. Thru the generosity of SO many we've been able to rebuild our damaged building and continue to save sick, abused, abandoned and stray dogs. Sadly, when we find a loving home for one there are more than a dozen more waiting to be rescued.
