Rocky and his litter were thrown away in a box by a dumpster when they were only a few weeks old. He joined the family Christmas Eve 2024. He has grown immensely both physically and mentally. For a 6 month old puppy he’s smart, silly, playful and spoiled. He is a German Shepard mix with some little complications. We discovered his paws are so large he drags them when he walks. It’s believed he could be deformed since his legs are short and don’t give him enough space to clear his large paws when he walks. We will be seeing a specialist to rule out neurological problems and see how to help him. For the time being he wears shoes on his front paws and takes medicine daily. He’s still a happy and active puppy who loves chasing leaves and stealing soccer balls.
