George’s exact age and breed is a bit of a mystery to his humans, as they took him home from a meat farm in northern Minnesota, where he was going to be “retired” from his short life of being bred. Now this sweet boy is a spoiled free-roaming house rabbit! He’s a smart boy who learned very quickly to come when he is called, to spin for treats, and what the word “dinner” means. Recently, George’s back hips were dislocated as a result from his cross-bred genetics. There is not a guaranteed fix for this, so now he is learning how to live with less use of his back legs. It’s been hard on him and his humans, but George is learning to adapt as quickly as possible, surprising his humans with his strength and resilience! He is determined to live a long and happy life, as he deserves.
