The St. Augustine Humane Society provides lifesaving resources to St. Augustine and the surrounding communities. Our resources provide the necessary care to help families who are struggling to keep their pets in their homes instead of being relinquished to animal shelters. We do this by providing programs that address the most common reasons pets are relinquished to shelters.
Our high-volume Spay/Neuter and Surgery Clinic helps prevent the overpopulation of unsterilized animals, and provides lifesaving surgeries to pets who need it most. Our low-cost Wellness Clinic provides preventative and rehabilitative medical treatment to pets who would otherwise not receive this necessary care. Our Pet Food Pantry is a temporary assistance program which provides over 2,000 pounds of pet food each month to families who are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford to feed their pets. Our high-end Society Pet Spa provides and pampers pets with the best grooming services, while serving as a revenue generator our other programs and resources.
By supporting the St. Augustine Humane Society, you are helping pets in our community live happy, healthy lives with their loving families. We do not receive any money from the government, and rely on the support of people like you for the success of our programs. To learn more about the St. Augustine Humane Society, please visit

Mission
The St. Augustine Humane Society promotes healthy, responsible, lifelong pet ownership by serving the medical and rehabilitative needs of companion animals in our community. Our programs are designed to strengthen human-pet relationships by reducing the need for pets to enter shelters. Our goal is to ensure all pets have access to quality veterinary care, prevent overpopulation, and prevent animal suffering.
