Lucy and her mom had been abused and were picked up off the street in rural Ga and then rescued from death row by Volenteers from SAFE of St Augustine. I fostered the mom (Gracie) and the young pup was adopted by a couple from Atlantic Bch. Fast forward 5 years and the couple who had adopted Lucy (the pup) loved her but found themselves in a situation where they needed to re-home her. So....now I have BOTH dogs, mother & child! Lucy is hoping to follow in her mother's paw-steps , as Gracie was voted Ms. January in the calendar two years ago. I am so lucky I get to say "Goodnight Gracie " and " I Love Lucy " every day!
