A little about me...
Hazel was jumping for joy when I spotted her in her kennel. A family was ready to take her out for a walk but promptly changed their minds once the volunteer mentioned that this bouncey little pup was an amputee! She was jumping so high none of us realized she was missing a back leg! As the family walked away, I watched Hazels sadness & it overcame me as well. I asked if I could walk her and that’s all the wrote! This little escape artist has given me a run for my money that’s for sure. She’s an awesome girl with a happy, playful spirit. She has helped raise many rescue dogs who have come through our home as she seems to think of herself as “mama bear” and she has also provided love and comfort to those in the therapy center and sober living home where I used to work. Her favorite activities include playing defense when another dog is fetching, barking at people to say hi, barking at people to say bye, barking around the perimeter of the yard when the fox is lurking & spinning like a spinner top. Parkour and snuggling are her absolute favorite activities :)
