Rules

Entries:

Each entry is a $5 donation.
Entry photos are not the actual photos to be used in the calendar/social media/website. Winners will receive a photo shoot with a photographer to generate the photo to appear in the calendar/social media/website.
It's all about the animals; People's faces are not allowed in photos, only the pet. Photos that do not follow this rule will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
You may enter multiple pets per household as separate entries with different photos.
All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos. We cannot accept any copyrighted, watermarked, or professional photos.
The Submissions Period starts at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 15, 2022 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, August 5, 2022.
Contest entry fees are tax deductible only as allowed by law. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, may portray harm to an animal, or is obscene, as determined by Providence Animal Rescue League in its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest with no opportunity for a refund.
Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entries that receive the most votes. The same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots in the calendar by the same pet will not be permitted.

Prize Claim:

Winners will receive a photography session to generate the photo to be used both in the calendar and as the header image for Providence Rhode Island's Facebook page for the corresponding month. The first place winner will be featured on the cover of the calendar and will have photo featured on the Providence Animal Rescue League's website homepage.
Winners will be contacted to schedule their professional photo session with the photographer. Sessions must be scheduled between August 15, 2022 and September 2, 2022.
Photo sessions will take place at Providence Animal Rescue League, or a mutually agreed upon location in the Providence, RI area, to be determined by photographer and winner.
If photo session is not scheduled and/or completed due to fault of the winner (i.e.: no response, no show, etc.), winner forfeits prize and another winner will be selected from the entrants at the sole discretion of Providence Animal Rescue League with no opportunity for a refund.
Prizes do not include any printed photographs or related product purchases beyond a digital version of the final photograph, selected for the calendar and winner at Providence Animal Rescue League's discretion.

Voting:

Each $1 counts as one (1) vote.
All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
Contest votes are tax deductible only as allowed by law. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of Gogo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
The Voting Period starts at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 15, 2022, and ends at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 14, 2022

The Fine Print:

By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
Calendars will be available to the general public starting late October 2022.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Providence Animal Rescue League and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
