Hi! My name is Gabby. Last July, I was brought to the Bastrop Animal Shelter as a little, bitty puppy-my name was Brazoria then. I was VERY sick with parvovirus. I was in line to be "put to sleep", but thankfully a call was made to Austin Pets Alive in Austin. They had one hour to drive to Bastrop to get me or my days would be over. A nice lady from APA came and picked me up. I was taken to the Parvo Unit at Austin Pets Alive-this is a picture of me when I arrived. I was SO sick. But, because of this special parvo unit that Dr. Ellen Jefferson started at APA, I was cured (and loved on ALOT) and am now loving my new life with my "forever family"--Britt, Sheri and Natalie Terrell (and oh yes-my cat "sister" Roxy")!
