I met Roy (formerly Bear) when I was volunteering as a cat socializer and It was love at first flop! Instead of exiting a hutch like a normal cat, he flopped out butt first. It didn’t take long for Roy to warm up to our home (though our resident cat didn’t feel the same way) but in the 2 years we’ve had him, Roy has become the most affectionate lap cat! Roy loves an aggressive pet session, seriously we can rub his belly and pat his butt like it’s a drum and he LOVES it! Pictured here, Roy is enjoying our wall mounted hutches where he can watch the world go by and chase his own tail (and scare his parents who are afraid he’ll fall off…). Every night Roy delivers us several toys to our room and every morning he returns them back downstairs, at least one of them is a stick toy so we can hear it coming. Though he’s often causing chaos, we love our void!!
