Kieran and his litter siblings were abandoned by a dumpster in Maryland . They were found by a friend of my daughter and my daughter adopted him. The name Kieran means ‘little dark one’ and he lives up to his name. If he’s not jumping on counters or using the rug as a scratching board, he can be found burrowed under a blanket or the couch cover. If we can’t find Kieran, we just look for lumps on the beds or couch. Not a day goes by that I don’t look at him and say ‘You’re lucky you’re so cute!’ But when I come home from work and see him waiting for me in the window, my heart melts. Kieran and his older adopted siblings live in Maryland with my daughter, but they spend months every year with me in RI while mommy travels for work.
