Pet’s rescue story in 500 words or less
Coco stole our hearts the moment we saw her picture on the SPCA of Brevard's Facebook page. Over dinner, our family decided she was the one and we had to see her right away. With excitement, we drove to the shelter and prayed no one had adopted her yet. When we arrived, we were elated (for us) to hear she was still available for adoption. The wonderful staff took as to the meet and great area for an introduction. As Coco walked through the gate, she immediately made us laugh and cry at the same time. She ran to us with such joy and with TONS of kisses. It felt like she had been waiting years for us to find her.

Despite a challenging start in life, she radiates contagious positivity and a zest for life that lights up any room. We think so much of her ability to love was learned at the shelter by the staff who healed and cared for her. It’s impossible to be in a bad mood around Coco; Her silly personality and her abundant need to attack you with affection makes you stop to enjoy and appreciate life.

Coco's favorite things are eating daddy's shoes, food, morning walks with daddy, following mommy everywhere and nibbling on her fingers, food, toys toys and more toys, food, her dog bed on our bed, snuggling with her little people and stealing their toys, food, and lots of kisses.

Coco (or Coco Nut as we like to call her) is a goofy ray of sunshine that fills our lives with joy. She stole our hearts from the first moment we saw her, and we will forever be grateful for the SPCA of Brevard for taking care of our baby when she was abandoned - waiting for her family to find her.
