Why my pup is special (120 words)
Feb 27, 2016 was the best day of my life when my family met Barney. We were transporting him to a rescue in NE and about 10 minutes into the drive we decided we could never let him go. He was companion and protector to my dad who had Alzheimer’s and best buddy and therapist to me and my mom! We were told that he was an owner surrender but the shelter said he was a stray…we’ll never know but he will always be my heart dog! He was our 5th Doxie . He developed Cushings and slowly declined. He will always be our Angel Dog😇. I know he’s sitting on my dads lap in heaven now!
