Pet's Bio
Lily was given up at five years of age, because the daycare center she lived at was no longer allowed to have pitbulls. At the shelter, she would lick the glass door between her and the outside world obsessively until it was slobbery and gross, scaring off potential adopters. She had been at the shelter for a long time, but fortunately for a volunteer's sponsorship and the love of everyone at the shelter, she was able to hang on. She became part of our family and is still going strong at 14 years (7 yrs in photo). She enjoys treats, long hikes in the woods, and snuggling with her friend Ming the cat.
