Bess was confiscated from a dog fighting operation in South Carolina and instead of being euthanized, she was rescued and evaluated. Bess was my first foster.... failure. (insert happy dance here) Last summer we discovered Barn Hunting. Bess was a natural- she won over judges, competitors, and spectators with her big grin, snuffling nose, and wagging tail. She is the happiest, sweetest, and most affectionate dog I've ever had the pleasure of sharing my life with and has enriched my life beyond measure with her unadulterated joy of living.
