We met Ducky at a shelter where we volunteered. Ducky was there for 10 months. The chaos of the shelter took it's toll on this sweetie, and she began to get agitated. My husband went to the shelter every day, and gave Ducky a "break" by spending time with her in his truck, listening to classical music. We knew her potential, and wanted to keep her sane during her long wait for a home.

One unfortunate day, Ducky was put next to a reactive dog in the playyard, and, as happens, a fence fight occurred. No serious damage, but the shelter became hesitant to place her after that. We ended up fostering her through PittieLove, and, she became our "failed foster." Ducky lives with her doberman brother, is learning nosework, will be taking her CGC soon, is a wonderful Pittie ambassador , and still LOVES to ride in the truck!
